The mining area covers 17.09 square km and the geographic coordinates are: longitude 111°21'28” – 111°25'13”, latitude 23°42'45” – 23°45'00” Bobai-Wuzhou deep faults run through the mining area. There is an outcropping of Paleozoic strata igneous rocks fracturing into veins, 10 of which are known to have silver, tungsten, or gold mineralization. There are in total 21 ore bodies: 11 tungsten ore, 5 molybdenum ore, 2 gold ore bodies, a gold-silver body, a silver ore body, and a gold-lead-zinc body.
The tungsten and molybdenum ore body produces mainly outside of the contact zone while the lead zinc and silver production occurs from the body in periphery of the Cambrian clastic rock in the fractured band. The known ore body lengths range from 100 - 290 m, thickness ranges from 0.43 - 9.06 m, with thickness generally around 1 - 2 m.
Preliminary (333) + (334) estimates of the 11 tungsten ore resources amount to 414,000 t of ore, with tungsten meal content of 422.27 t, and associated molybdenum metal content of 43.63 t. Preliminary (333) + (334) estimates of 83 kg of gold metal content, 12 t of silver metal content, 500 t of lead metal content, and 88 t of zinc metal content. Geological conditions of the metallogenic belt are good, jobs needing to be filled are low, and there is a good opportunity for further exploration and valuable development. Average grades are 1.01 ppm Au, 135 ppm Ag, 0.57% Pb, 1.02% Zn.
矿区地理坐标:东经111°21′28′′~111°25′13′′，北纬 23°42′45′′~23°45′00′′，面积17.09km^2。
矿区位于大瑶山成矿带北东段南侧。博白—梧州深大断裂带贯穿 矿区。出露地层以古生界为主，岩浆岩为燕山早期中酸性岩；规模较大的断裂有20多条，已知其中10条具银或钨，金等矿化。共圈定矿体 21个(其中钨矿体11个，钼矿体5个，金矿体2个，金银矿体1个，银矿体1个，金铅锌矿体1个)。钨，钼矿体主要产于岩体内外接触带中；金银铅锌矿体产于岩体外围寒武系碎屑岩的断裂破碎带内。已知矿体长度100~290m，厚度0.43~9.06m，一般厚度1~2m。
初步估算11个钨矿体(333)+(334)金属量钨422.27t，伴生钼43.63t；5个钼矿体(333)+(334)金属量钼54.79t，伴生钨54.75t；金，银多金属矿体(333)+(334)金属量Au83kg，Ag12t，Pb500t，Zn88t，平均品位Au1.01×10-6，Ag135×10-6，Pb0.57%，Zn1.02%。 矿区成矿地质条件好，工作程度总体较低(普查),有进一步勘查开 发价值。
